Kuliah?

Well, I would like to share my thoughts. About the university, bachelor degree, master degree etc.

I accepted in one of the finest public university in Indonesia. Ya meskipun cuma D3. Banyak orang bilang mending lepas buat cari swasta dan dapat S1. Karna di sini D3 ga ada apa apa nya.

Is that true?

Banyak kan lulusan sarjana yang nganggur juga ga jelas kerjaan nya apaan. Finally jd tukang becak atau pekerjaan yang ga dia harapkan.

Banyak orang bilang buat apa universitas bagus tapi D3? Mending S1 swasta yang lulusan nya bisa dapat kerjaan bagus.
Wait.

Ketika melamar pekerjaan pasti kita ditanya pengalaman right? Nah.
Meskipun kita lulusan S3 tapi kalo pengalaman juga ga ada untuk apa bro? :(

Perusahaan pasti pengen yang terbaik dan pasti minta pekerja yang berpengalaman kan? Ya meskipun di sini gelar juga ngaruh ke gaji karyawan. Itu yang masih agak gimanaaaa gitu. Banyak lulusan S1 yang pintar tp had no skills.
Banyak org berskill tp ipk ga bagus bagus amat akhirnya ga diperkerjakan. Masih banyak perusahaan yang menginginkan lulusan ipk tinggi dibanding lulusan dengan skill yang maksimal.

Jadi pada intinya, gausah bilang kampus ini bagus lah itu bagus lah. Atau lu bersombong ria dpt kampus mahal yang persemester berpuluh juta. Kampus mahal ga menjamin diri lu bakal kejual mahal juga :) lulusan SMA bahkan bisa sukses kan? Semua universitas itu sama. Yg membedakan adalah diri kita sendiri.

Bagaimana berkompetisi di dunia yang gila edukasi ini tanpa harus ipk tinggi. Banyak kan orang luar berhenti kuliah but they got skill and they succeed. Kenapa kita ga bisa? Apalagi yang gelar sarjana atau magister.

SINGLE-GENDER SCHOOL

so, i read some articles today about single gender school. it means, in that school, all the students are from the same gender, either it is a boy or a girl. and some people just gave lots of opinions, well, i called it as a debate. lol. so what i found is,

"Single-sex schools are schools that only admit those of one specific gender, believing that the educational environment fostered by a single gender is more conducive to learning than a co-educational school. Studies conducted have shown that boys gain more academically from studying in co-education schools, but that girls find segregated schools more conducive to achievement. However academic results are not the only criterion on which the success of the education system should be judged. In the United States, a long-standing controversy over the Virginia Military Institute resulted in a landmark Supreme Court ruling, in June 1996, that the institute must admit women. Nevertheless the Court left room for private (i.e. not state-run) single-sex institutions and other such schools, where needed, to redress discrimination. Proponents of single-sex schools maintain that, by removing the distractions of the other sex, students learn more effectively and feel better about their education. Opponents maintain that co-educational schools in contrast are important in that they prepare students better for the real world, and do not attempt to segregate students from the realities of adult life. This debate can apply both to secondary school and college level, but single-sex institutions are found more frequently at the former.

Children will gain exposure to the opposite sex when they reach adult life; whilst they are young, they should be around those who they feel most comfortable with. The inclinations of children in the formative years, between 7 and 15, are to gravitate towards their own sex. What is natural should be encouraged, and can most easily be done so in single-sex institutions. Furthermore, they naturally tend towards behaviour appropriate to their gender. It is therefore easier to implement an education strategy geared specifically towards one gender. Moreover, certain subjects are best taught, both in terms of ease and effectiveness, in single-sex classrooms, such as sex education or gender issues. 

 after all, i found this too..

Teaching girls in single-sex schools, long an obsession of many parents worried about their daughters being distracted by boys, makes no difference to their educational attainment according to one of the most comprehensive studies of the way children learn.
The findings by Alan Smithers, Professor of Education at Buckingham University and one of Britain's most respected schools experts, will come as a shock to parents convinced their daughters would benefit from an all-girl environment. Half a century of research 'has not shown any dramatic or consistent advantages for single-sex education' for boys or girls, he will conclude.

well, actually, it makes me think really hard. in one side, i think it's good enough with all-girls or all-boys school environment, because they have no distractions and they willing to study more. BUT, in another side, and it's important, as you know God created girl and boy to live together, and i worried if those children are in the single-gender school since they were kids (4-5 years old), i worried, they were afraid to make friends with their opposite. i mean, in their school they didn't know about their opposite better and i think, they friendship isn't that you know, as big as children who went to public school.

well, at least, that's what i think. tell me yours? ;)

JAPANESE TUESDAY

well, at first, i'd like to thank God and my japanese teacher for inviting me to this amazing program. haha.
so, on tuesday, march 11th 2014, it was a rainy tuesday but i got up too early (around 4 a.m) took a bath, ate breakfast and i went to my school. it was really dark and a little bit scary since i knew that there was "something else" here.
haha. oke lanjut. di hari selasa itu, gue dkk pergi ke japan foundation. ada seminar gitu deh. yang ikut 12 orang + 1 guru jepang gue yang super kece.
disana ngapain aja? well. pertama sih bincang- bincang sama sales manager dari HOTEL SULTAN yang keren bgt itu, sama orang dari JALAN TOUR. dan bincang- bincang ini bener-bener memotivasi loh!
mulai dari consumer handling sampai tips- tips gimana sih jadi worker yang bener- bener "fleksibel". mereka juga nyeritain pengalaman mereka. perjalanan mereka dari zero to hero. poko'e keren abis lah! it's really usefull.
moment ke dua yaitu, kerja kelompok, disini kita dipisah sama temen satu sekolah dan di wajibkan untuk menggabungkan diri ke kelompok yang terdiri dari sekolah- sekolah lain. well, luckily, kelompok gue, mskipun di dominasi oleh cowo- cowo, mereka asik juga. hehe. kita di ajak kuis dan kerja sama menjelaskan apa saja yang terdiri dari makanan sehat dengan menggunakan bahasa jepang tentunya.
kegiatan ini, lagi, memotivasi banget apa lagi buat para pelajar yang emang suka bgt jepang. karna disini, selain kita di tuntut untuk terus belajar kita juga diajak untuk bekerja sama dan harus mudah beradaptasi.
well, kesimpulannya, kegiatan ini bener- bener berguna bgt lah.

pulangnya, HAHA. big deal bgt ya. nunggu busway di halte gbk arah pulogadung itu lama bukan main. sekitar 40 menit kita menunggu dan parahnya, my sweet-but-annoying friends nyanyi nyanyi ga jelas sampe orang satu halte ngeliatin (untungnya gue pake masker). dan alhasil, kita nyampe halte pulogadung tepat jam 7 malam dan dilanjutkan dengan makan- makan di harapan indah lalu cusss pulang.

My Friend's Love Life

You may be a little confuse for the title. Thats was my friend's love life so why i talked about it? Because im in it.

Yeah. It started almost a year ago when i first met her. She's a funny girl and i thought she's a little bit shy. But i was wrong. She's too attractive to some boys.

I heard that one day, a boy she ever liked says: "i dont like her. She is just too attractive" wow.

I mean, i know that it was my friend's fault not him.

Because sometimes, she teases him. But he doesn't like it anymore..
Well. Thats all. Hehe.
I havent post any other things because im too busy

Lingkungan hidup yg mati

Today, i would like to share my story. Lets begin from i woke up this morning.
Bangun dr mimpi indah itu emang nyesek, apa lagi kalo tau hari ini ga ada yang special. Jadi gue memutuskan untuk bangun dengan terpaksa sambil mikir "hari ini ada yg special ga sih?" Karna, gue rasa hari ini bakal jadi bencana.
Bner bgt. Gue ke sekolah naik motor. Bokap tau jalan biasa pasti banjir. Jadi dia ngambil jalan lain yang ternyata juga ikutan banjir dengan bonus macet nya. Nah. Dari situ gue udah mulai ga enak. Lanjut. Dari thb, bokap nyari jalan ke HI. Seperti yang udah gue duga. Air udah merajalela di hi. Akibatnya gue telat. Gue sms temen jem 07.40 dan berharap jawaban mereka "belum masuk kok" tapi ternyata... jawabannya malah bikin ngakak. "Gue gatau. Gue gaa masuk" tau ga apa reaksi gue? Senyum.karna gue tau gue ga sendiri. Akhirnya yaa.. gue.memutuskan untuk kembali.ke kediaman dari pada di tahan air begini (look at the pic) gila nya, pas gue lagi di jalan melewati tingginya air, perhatian gue teralihkan oleh pemandangan yang amat menyedihkan. Ada pohon. Gede sih. Ada bunga ny juga. Sayangnya, pohon nya tumbang, masuk ke kali trus kebawa arus. Nah loh. Ga berapa lama, gue liat banyaaaak tumpukan sampah. Ga salah lagi kan.. sekecil apa pun sampah yg kita buang, akibatnya bukan cuma banjir. Akibatnya bisa telat sekolah dan itu sulit dimaafkan. Well, tapi gue ga terlalu peduli karna gue emang lebih baik pulang dari pada terlambat trus diomelin gara2 lupa bawa pr. ha. Yaaa.. begitulah keadaan indonesia kalo hujan turun dr jam 2 pagi.
Hal ini mengajari... kalo hujan dr jem 2, woles.. pasti banyak yang ga masuk sekolah. Gue yg udah ngira ini bakalan terjadi aja, ikutan seengsara. Kenapa? Karena....meskipun gue dibonceng, dan meskipun bokap gue yg emang lebih sengsara, tapi bener dah. Usaha gue untuk mempertahankan keseimbangan d motor itu sama aja kaya narik kebo ke atas gunung. Alhasil, pantat gue serasa kepentok dan paha gue keram. Gue gatau kenapa 2 hal itu bisa terjadi. Yang gue tau, gue capek dan leher gue pegel gara2 nunduk mulu melototin hp.
Well... segitu aja. Capek bgt loh ngetiknya.. dan meskipun gue tau ga akan ada satu orang pun yang bakal ngebaca postingan ini, tapi biarin lah.
